7. Consided Merceds E class, Replacing 2008 AWD GS350
Not sure why I considered going Mercedes. I'm glad I stuck with Lexus. Under unfortunate circumstances, this car replaced my 2008 AWD GS350 that was totaled in an accident (rear-ended from behind). I really wasn't fond of the the 4th gen. body, but it grew on me. I still have love for the 3rd gen. body though.
3 things I miss that was on my previous GS:
1. AFS
2. Automatic trunk close
3. Power folding mirrors

New to this forum and excited to join my fellow gs owners here

I absolutely love this car!!
I sold my Nissan 370z and moved to this sexy beast
I recently tinted my headlights
Few of my plans are to maybe get bigger concaved wheels and lower the car

Coming out of a 2005 Acura TL A-Spec that I've had since new.
The car has been Excellent, five stars,best car I've owned. It's just time for something new so I thought I would try the Lexus GS350 AWD.

3. Tinted Windows, going to get chrome blacked out... still debating on whether I want to wrap the roof or not.

Haven't taken delivery yet, but the deposit is down and the car is on a boat somewhere.

6. Not much, likely just a clear bra and tints this time around
7. Really came down to the GS or the new NX, but after getting some seat time in the GS, the interior is just several notches above the IS/NX/RC

I needed a 4-seater to replace a 2011 Porsche Boxster. I value reliability above all else (what else is engineering for if not to do what it should and keep doing it...?)
Great forum - and very refreshing not to see endless questions about how to repair something that has gone wrong. Take a look at a Mercedes SL forum and you'll see what I mean! I owned a 2008 R230 SL350 for a couple of years and it gave me kittens.
I hope I can contribute - I'm an engineer so my answers may be exacting but hopefully useful.
Excuse the photo - it was raining so I left the beastie in the garage. I'll get some better ones if the sun comes out.

New to me
Hey everyone! After months of looking I came across a great 2013 GS 350 F sport and bought it yesterday.
1-GS350 F sport
2-black on black
3-navigation, park assist, bsm
4-rwd
5- Drs
6-tint and a radar detector
7- cars I was considering were A6, 535i, cla45, c300, e350, cls550
No other car had me feeling comfortable about making the decision to purchase the car like the gs did. I know it doesn't say much but it just felt right. I am coming from an awesome but gas guzzling 2007 4Runner 4wd v8
