My ABS & Airbage lights are on...What could be the problem? How can I solve this problem without going to the dealer?

I've read a post on this before, try doing a search. The response was for an SC though, not sure if it will be the same. My Airbag light is on too... i followed the instructions on the post but it didnt work for me.. although some reported success.

One of the airbag sensors might have gone bad. Your dealer should at least run a diagnostic for you for free. All they have to do is get the error code from the computer and then they should be able to tell you what is wrong. Especially if you're already there for an oil change or something.

Good luck and let us know what happens. Your airbags are essentially OFF while those lights are on. I assume you already checked the fuses and tried unplugging the battery for 10 min or so.
