wheels
Indy, the wheels are HRE 448Rs. They are 19x9 w/ a 2" lip in front and 19x10 with a 3" lip in the rear. My brother, who is active on the wheels forum here, is an engineer for HRE. He measured the car, spec'd the wheels and I believe he even assembled them once the machining was finished. I like having wheels on the car that he put so much effort into. It kind of makes me feel like I'm pimping his hard work when I drive the car around.

Do you have it lowered? If so how? By the way that is odd that you and Pianoman72 dont have a sunroof.. I've never seen that on a 1st Gen. But i have seen two 2nd Gens with Cloth Seats
Mischievous... Man that's sweeeeeet.... I want a kit! I want a kit! I want a kit!...

lowered
Yes, the car is lowered about 1.25" using the Eibach Pro Kit. I would like it to be a little lower and will probably get some coilovers down the road. For now, the Eibachs ride great.

leather
I also did not know you could get a GS in the US w/o leather seats. Lexus says cloth is standard. I have leather and have not seen a first gen w/ cloth, but they're out there aparently. I have seen one second gen GS300 with cloth. It was pretty strange.

My GS
Heres mine I am gonna show it off a little since I can't drive it for a few more weeks (DUI) I had to take the front tint off for the time being and put the front plate back oon but, Look at mine and look at a stock 2nd generation GS300 with 16's, which one would you choose? I have seen potential in the 1st generation GSs since I was 16 and when I went shopping for one I looked at a silver 98 GS300 but the only thing I like alot about it was the interior. When I seen mine I just fell in love, now after seeing all the 2nd generations on the board with them being lowered also, with the deep dish big wheels I love them and now I want a 430. I will wait to see what the 3rd generation looks like before I chose but here is a pic of mine in Chicago's winter.
