Factory amp through new headunit
hi,
I am installing a kenwood DDX7036BT head unit into a lexus 1998 GS300, how do I wire the head unit so that I can still use the factory amp?
The wiring harness that came with my facia kit, states that blue wire is the amp + and black/white is amp -, but these wires are found on my harness.
I simply have right left and right, and rear left and right speakers.
Thanks in advanced.

i seriously wouldn't bother. the kenwood will have more power than the factory amp.
yes its a re wire but it is actually really simple to do
i re wired my whole factory system to run just a parrot mki9100 phone kit and this is my only source of music.
The phone kit is hooked up to a Vibe blackbox 1500rms ' 2ohm amp and this in turn is hooked up to a dual 4 ohm audio systems 12 " sub in the shelf.
IO just need to get off my back side and fit the 4 channel amp to run the fronts fully active.
