Update time... just finishing up a deal on a set of 1995 LS400 front calipers, AND finally nailed down a set of wheels.
It will be the GT7s, 18x9, 18x10. I have some plans. Pics when they arrive.
Still need to sell the NA-t kit and spare 2jzge engine. Willing to trade for a new set of BC coilovers for this car.. can be found under $900 shipped....

Got the LS400 calipers today, rims still on the way. Can't wait to see them, and especially on the car.
Couple bites and may be close to a deal on the na-t kit, so coilovers could go on the pile sooner then later.
Happy Halloween everyone. Be safe out there tonight.

Yes!!! They are here.
The tires are Riken Raptor which is far from my choice, but they are brand new, and pretty much free considering that I paid rep prices for these genuine GT7s. Not perfect, but nothing a little polish won't shine up.
This project is coming along well, coilovers next on the list.

Little update, cleaned the wheels up and snapped a few shots.
Then I took them over to the car which still has no engine and is sitting up on a trailer, and mounted them up to check the fitment. Perfect.. even with the HUGE wheel well gap, it looks like it will come down and tuck perfectly flush. I'm definitely not averse to trimming and pulling the fenders as necessary to guarantee rub free "spirited" commuting once the coilovers are on and setup.
I also took the world's worst sunlight washed out cell phone pics.. and these were the good ones..lol
FINALLY after nearly a month and a half I succeeded in getting my Aristo bumper and foglights shipped from a member in IL. It arrived today.
I need the side pieces to the lights that are missing in these pics.. small plastic covers for the adjuster screws. The lights defintely need a buff and polish, but should turn out okay. 3000k HIDs will be going into these.
So yes, that is about it for the moment.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Looking for a good car cover for this car. Way too many projects going on right now, plus the holidays...
Suggestions welcome.. I want a good fitting cover for exterior use.
Considering pulling some of the interior trim and sending out for hydrodipping during the downtime just like I did on my 944. Got to always be doing something...

Not so much tired of the build as just generally tired. So many projects going on, lack of work space and keeping up with my son's interests plus work and oh yea..sleep.. *sigh*
i still want to finish the build but if someone wants an awesome deal I will pass it on.

I know how it feels having so many projects. I don't have a kid or my own family thought, so I'm ok with that. But besides that, sorry to hear you haven't been able to complete the project. I'm still waiting on starting my GS project. 3UZ into a 1g R154 Tans.

I know how that is too! I've left my car as a daily driver for two years now with hardly anything done to it. Not so much a lack of interest as a huge amount of projects and work, time spread thin. Beautiful car though I think you'll love her even more when you start rippin' up the streets.
