Default 93 GS300 compatible transmissions

From the research Ive done I know that the 93 94 and 95 GS came with the A340E and the 96 97 GS came with the A350E. The tranny on my car which is a 93 is slipping really bad as soon as it warms up and I need a new one so my question is what years of the SC300 came with the A340E and is it swappable into a GS. Also are there any other Toyota cars that I could get a tranny from that would work in my car with little to no modifications

This is information I pulled from online. You need to make sure your bellhousing is used and potentially shift linkage from your old transmission. I would use something out of a 1992-1995 Lexus SC/GS 300 3.0L I6 or 1987-1998 Toyota Supra turbo (which is beefier clutches)

A340E (30-40LE)

Applications:

1987-1992 Cressida (30-40LE)
1986-1998 Toyota Supra non-turbo
1987-1998 Toyota Supra turbo
1990-2000 Toyota Chaser/Mark II/Cresta 2.5 (1JZ-GE)
1995-2013 Toyota Tacoma 2.7L I4 (4WD), 3.0L V6, 3.4L V6
1993-1995 T100 3.0L V6
1993-1997 Previa 2.4L w/supercharger
1991-1997 Aristo 3.0L I6 Turbo
1992-2000 Lexus SC 300 3.0L I6
1992-1999 Lexus SC 400 4.0L V8
1990-1995 Crown Majesta 3.0L I6
1999-2003 Crown Athlete V (1JZ-GTE)
1994-2000 Toyota Soarer 3.0L I6 (2JZ-GE)
1995-1997 Lexus LS 400 4.0L V8
1989-2002 4Runner (4x2) (30-40LE)
2001-2004 Sequoia (4x2)
2000-2004 Tundra (4x2)
2005-2007 TOYOTA COMMUTER 2.5L DIESEL
1985-1995 Toyota Pick-Up 3.0L
1987-2001 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L
1987-1992 Jeep Comanche 4.0L
1993-1993.5 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L
1991-2000 toyota soarer 1jz gte

As far as I remember all the turbo and v8 trans have electronic kick down where the older gs has cable kick down. You need to make sure your ecu can control that.
