Default Front crank seal?

Anyone have a walkthru of how to go about swapping the front crank seal? Is it true you have to remove the timing belt

yes it is true you have to remove the Timing belt...might as well replace timing belt/water pump, cam seals, and tensioner and idler while you in there.

this will get you started off.

To break the crank pulley bolt loose, Place a socket/wrench on the bolt, use a breaker bar on the socket. Place the breaker bar on the floor or in a snug spot where it won't spin. Go in the car, turn the key for a milisecond where the starter turns the engine and snaps the bolt loose. DO NOT HOLD THE KEY IN THE ON POSITION OR THE SOCKETWRENCH/BREAKER BAR WILL TURN YOUR ENGINE BAY INTO SWISS CHEESE.
