Default would you swap 2jzgte?

I am looking to get into a 1st gen gs300 primarily along with other toyota based cars besides the supra (cant afford it) such as the is300, sc300, etc. They mostly have the 2jzge and since almost everything around this age has high miles and isnt worth much I want to either get a gte swap or completely tear down and rebuild the motor to go for big numbers on a turbo. I just want to get your guy's opinion since im sure most of you have been in the game longer than I have. my plan is to build to completely build the motor and go with a standalone ems so what i am asking is what would you do in this situation?

I would buy a japanese 2jzgte that is on ebay and pick up either option 1: Pro EFI 128 ecu, option 2: megasquirt ms3x ecu, or option 3: AEM v2 ecu and swap it into the 1st gen gs300 with a manual transmission and throw a borg warner 64mm FMW single turbo on it.. Oh ya... That's my plan!

I definitely recommend it. I live mine. Its pretty mild and still my street cruiser so I kept the auto and just ran a single turbo setup. It cruises like stock but when you get on it she scoots pretty good. Just do it right a save up to get all the parts you need and replace belts and gaskets from the swap you buy.
