swap of seating from first gen to second gen

Hi, i am new to this club and i own a 93 gs 300 i want to know if any one have swap the seats of first gen to second gen or is it possible to do.

Bolt pattern to the floor pan is completely different, it isn't possible without some very careful welding to combine the Mk1 rails and Mk2 seats.
