Moving to Cali! Need help finding great shop!
Ok.
So for those who may not know, I bought a 1994 GS300 w/145k off an old grandma in Wisconsin. She didn't think it was safe in the snow. She was right, I've spun out twice (with almost no damage to the vehicle.) ANYWAYS, now, to avoid -50 degree weather in Upper Michigan I'm moving to California! #excited Burbank to be specific.
So I took Lexy to the Toyota dealership for a tuneup for my 2216 mile drive and to figure out what's up with my Check Engine light. It's the dreaded EGR valve and they wanted $550 for the piece.
Rockauto $150...
This means I need a great trusted place I can have put this piece in for a minimal price. Any suggestions? Would love a long term relationship with a mechanic because I plan on buying a second Lexus (hopefully a SC300) when I arrive. Thanks for your time and help guys. You've gotten me through 2 rough winters.
