Default GS300 vs SC300 ECM compatibility

Hello, I'm new here and have a question on ECU compatibility. I will be doing a legal 2JZ-GE engine swap into my 1989 Supra N/A. I bought a 1995 SC300 2JZ-GE engine and harness minus the ECU. Will the ECU from a 1995 GS300 work or is it best to obtain the SC300 ECU.

Default re Ecu

I would go with a sc300 ecu but if you want to use the gs300 ecu u need to look up the ecu wiring and make sure there wired the same. The ecu are different from year to year. The other problem is capacitors inside the ecu's bleeding because there no good. So make sure u check the ecu out open it. Take a look inside of the ecu so u don't chase ghost problems.

I would use a SC300 harness & ecu...
