They are diffrent mounting bolts but you can make brackets... and oem is always better for a dd but if you want performance its not the way to go making your car personal is always a plus anyways

Most OE fans are bulky and don't always fit with aftermarket setups. They do make good cfm though. A shroud only works if its properly installed. If you mount an electric fan directly to the radiator then install an OE shroud around the outside you're actually blocking airflow. Now if you install a shroud then mount the fan to the shroud away from the radiator core you'll be sucking air through the entire core surface and maximizing efficiency thus increasing cooling. I bought a nice fan setup with shroud for my aristo swap. Too bad I got one of the last ones made.

That is a good point but havent invested beause im swaping to a supra aluminum radiator and they make lots of good set ups for that mainly because I need to get rid of the resorvor on the sc to make more room for the intercooler pipe that is getting rerouted

The Megan Racing 3-core Aluminum radiator for the 93-98 supra WILL NOT fit. It almost does, but you will need to remove, and redirect or redesign the front suspension lower brace



because the hood will not close due to the radiator tanks top segment is 1-1.5 inches higher that the norm (area where the radiator cap goes).

This is for this particular 3-core radiator.

In my opinion, I think the stock supra radiator would work although, I have not done this myself

If I can fit a stock Supra radiator in that would probably be the easiest way since there are tons of electric fan options for the Supra. Maybe someone can chime in to let me know if a Supra radiator will fit.

If you can get a shroud modified a supra shroud will fit the GS radiator pretty well. Just need to reloacate the mounting tab.

The supra radiator will fit but the lower rubber braces are farther apart then the gs300. The is300, supra, and 2gs have the same radiator support. The upper supports will have to be relocated as well. If I remember right its about a inch or inch and a half outward. I can take some pics for you if you want? I bought a Mishimoto radiator for a is300 because they didn't make one for my car and had to fabricate some lower brackets and relocate the uppers. I plan on doing the electric fan swap as well but I need longer transmission lines and a new head first.

Forgot to mention the overflow line will have to be customized and the upper radiator hose will have to be cut or you can get an IS300 hose.

You can get a permacool 2995cfm electric fan from jegs for $90, that is plenty of fan, wire it in with a relay and thermo switch and you will not have cooling problems.
