Hey guys,
I have a question I'm hoping you can answer. I am replacing the lower control arm bushings in my 94 GS300 and the bushings on the #2 control arm were completely shot, hence I am not certain how the replacements go in. Here are some pics of one of the control arms and the bushing. I need to be certain of the direction it goes in. Thick side up or down?

Got it done, the original bushing had a skirt on it so it could only be pressed in to a certain point. I installed the new one so that the fat part of the bushing hit the same side of the arm that the skirt hit. Installed and what a difference maker. I had read some reviews where people didn't like the feel of poly bushings but I like the firmness of the response and feedback when turning! I would highly recommend!

How much were those bushings? I like having a firm response when driving and been loving my stiff coil overs

how hard were the arms to take out?
and where did you get those new bushings from?

Figs did a great blog about swapping bushings on my 1GS. Its a different brand but same idea. Also if anyone is looking for bushings I got a full set from Figs and they have a lifetime warranty if I remember right. My car is tight but not harsh.

Does the fatter part face down?

It turned out being fatter side is up. All the torque when installed and car is on the ground is on the top of the control arm bushing
