so I just got a 93 gs with bad tranny for $1000. the body is straight and the paint is nice also. well of course the drivers seat is shot and some other little crap in the interior need changing but for the price I'm not complaining. sorry for the glare! sun was blazing Sunday when i took this picture!

Call a JDM engine spot in your area. just google it and something should pop up. The usually sell Trannys for 200-250 and its a J3 so its much stronger than the stock. and FYI you can download the photobucket app and post pictures from there since they provide you with the img link. I post a lot from my phone. Good job on the pickup.

hahahaha the funny thing is i have that app but i never thought about it because i didn't know the photo layout is links only. some forums just let you pull from your library. anyways thanks bro!

I did a write up yes. Good luck with your project! If you need any help don't be afraid to ask, post, or private message. I'm pretty sure there are electronic links that I helped get hosted of the full electronic schematic book for our car along with the repair manual.

I also would say that if you could GET a manual, you could do it relatively quickly if you wanted to get everything you needed all at once as it took me about a week to do the swap by myself mostly, my problem was acquiring the parts and trying to figure out how to do it without a previous writeup.
