Help! I' ve a pretty significant leak at front of 94 gs.....I've changed out cam and crank seals twice thinking that is source of leak. Oil is dripping at front of engine mainly below and under crank pulley area....when I disassemble, I see oil as high and in back of belt tensioner on the head, but the cam seals appear to be dry (along with the back side of the seal cover). Oil is a also pooled at the top side of the timing belt cover (directly under the tensioner body) and then running down and around the belt cover. The fan seems to blow the oil around also so it is difficult to pinpoint source. Close examination does not appear to be from valve cover at front of engine....oil also seems to migrate down to front of oil pump and generally wet under lower cover....

Anyone had this experience? Could oil be thrown up from leaking oil pump...I' ve taken great care of installing seals using methods described on this forum....

Any ideas are welcome.....

Have you checked your VVTI gear. They are known to leak.

kind of a long shot but maybe a valve cover leaking down around the top seal or distributor oring leaking down? could get some of that uv dye for oil and trace it but youll have to start tearing into things to find it

With that air flow I know how difficult it is to pinpoint an oil leak.

I had a quart a day oil leak. Yes, it got that bad

My problem was the oil pressure switch was bad. Just came out like a river.

The thing is it's not easy to get to. You have to remove the air compressor. (Just unbolt and lay it to the side.

One other thing is you can buy a small bottle of leak detector and use a black light to spot where the flow is coming from. I ended up having to use that to find the "river"
