Default Where can I buy window trims/moldings?

My GS300 has the infamous problem with the window trim separating from the door. I was actually driving along when I heard something smacking against the window only to find the trim snapped almost completely in half! Does anyone know where I can buy one other than the dealership? They wanted to charge me $600 and another $200 just for installation!

Sometimes you can just buy both doors from japan and use them. I've seen them for around $250 each. Comes with switches and motor you can keep or part out.

Huh, I never thought of that, haha. But because it's right hand drive, won't the doors be reversed? Like the main control switch will be on the right door instead of the left door.

Yes but the switches are remove able as long as your panel isn't cracked you can switch switches lol. The glass is the same, motors, regulators, etc.

Id just Google. Check rpmgarage.com I think. Be careful on shipping though. One of these importer sites was going to charge $350 to ship the Toyota emblem from the grill which was $35 for the part.

I have the same problem. Someone tried to brake into my car, and before I hit him with the Louie slugger, the damage was already done to my door trim. No one wants to sell the trim alone, and I don't need the door or switches, just I have already replaced all the paneling inside the door. I'm willing to pay 150 dollars for the part

You gotta find someone who needs switches and door panel etc then go halves on a door.
