Default Heat fluctuates with acceleration

My 93 gs heat works spiraticly,super hot when stopped, cold when moving...please any advice would be greatly appreciated.thanx

Don't know much about the first gen GS, but this sounds exactly like a sticking thermostat. Get that replaced, (easy BTW), and your issue will be gone most likely.

yes is most likely the thermostat....

is a simple fix, usually involves two screws, buying a replacement a gasket and sealent... its always good to service that from time to time...

If that is not the case, make sure your clutch fan is working.. thats the big fan behind the radiator... i don't think your water pump is bad...

You might just want to try checking the coolant level. Had a buddy whose LS 400 exhibited the exact same symptoms, solved by topping up the coolant.

Don't think its the thermostat. Temp would not fluctuate when moving if it was a thermostat. Its sound more like a weak clutch fan and bad water pump.
