2Lexos...I'm thinking about getting a Veilside kit. I need all the detail you can give me. I know where to get it from but who do you reccomend?
How much did you pay for yours?
How hard was the installation?
How much to paint the kit? Did they have to repain the entire car so the paint would match-up?
Picutres please...I need some pictures besides the ones from the Veilside site.
What is the kit made out of?
Any problems so far? Kit not fitting correctly?

Loves Snickerdoodles!
Well since...
I'm more into the clean and understated look so I'd have to say either the Classy the Wald kit. I want a kit that looks (to the untrained eye) somewhat stock. A kit that makes you take a double take at the car and makes you wonder for a few seconds like..."hmmmm, is that stock....nah, it can't be". I want it to have that sort of effect.

A: Steve Ganz from Carson Toyota----mention CL
Q: How much did you pay for yours?
A: Sorry, can't say but paid member's get special pricing
Q: How hard was the installation?
A: Not sure body shop did the work but you have to pick a good shop that knows what they are doing.
Q: How much to paint the kit?
A: Again, not sure cause i painted the whole car for $4000 including install of kit.
Q: Did they have to repaint the entire car so the paint would match-up?
A: I don't think you have to repaint the entire car, but i needed to cause of numerous scratches on my paint.
Q: What is the kit made out of?
A: Fiberglass
Q: Any problems so far? Kit not fitting correctly?
A: Just that my car is too low and my front bumper is 2inches off the ground. and the side skirts where a bit tricky to do which is why you need a good shop.
I hope that answers all your questions!! Good luck!!

Titan Aerogear? Isn't that a knock-off kit? I think it is...
Anyways, the best kit...IMO, the Junction Produce kit, the Classy Sport Design Kit (which I have on my GS430) and the Veilside kit. If I had a JZS147, that is the order I would pick.
The Veilside kit will be the easiest to get and most likely, the least expensive since you don't need to get it custom imported here.
The Classy kit, while not expensive (at least for the JZS14x) is only sold in Japan so it would cost a little bit of money to get it here...
The Junction Produce kit is the most costly (it comes with more parts...doorcaps which you need IMO...looks silly w/o it...anyways, that is part of the reason for the higher price) and will cost the most to put on (due to the doorcaps) and will require a HIGHLY experience body shop unless you want doorcaps that wavy bye to you every time you leave the car. However, it is the PIMPEST looking kit and honestly, it makes the JZS147 GS look better than MANY other cars...new or old, fixed up or not. That kit needs some nice 19's or 20's...
