here is a pic of work in progress. i don't think i'm going to be sanding down the sides anymore. just the imediate area right in front of the project. i'm using 350 grit sand paper and its take SOO long. LOL. but well worth it.

notice how there is no more lines in front of where the projector is suppose to go

no shiet... its a 3 1/2 in pipe that i had to cut. LOL. it was hard cutting but it had such a big difference. i figured why i don't have that upside down U on the floor infront of my car now. its because those lines at the bottom of the headlight housing blocking it in. i'm working on getting rid of it. hee hee

damm thats some krazy stuff you're using there. Don't worry about those "U"'s. your fog lights are gonna eliminate those anyways. The last GS i did, when the fogs are on, the coverage up front is amazing!

i swear sometimes i think my car is a 5 series when my girl drives it so i can see what it looks like from the rear view. here is a pic of my projector fog lights with HID's. you can't even tell the difference between my car and a 5 series at night from more than 30 feet away.

check out that shadow the fog's makes on the heat gun. remember this is during broad daylight.

Pilot Projectors that i retrofitted for HID's

actually i have a picture of them here. LOL. as you can tell i'm enjoying my camera. my fogs are pointed out a little and my low beams are pointed straight. my fogs actually change color more than my low beam. i think due to the small size.

the top light is the low beam, and the lower one is the fog. the low beam was just placed on the car. it isn't even bolted in or anything so it looks kinda off and wierd.

oh and the light was faced towards a piece of cardboard i just placed against the gate
