Default Gen1 Gs300 is a ghost town!?!?!??!??!?

Where the heel is everyone at?. I understand there aren't a lot of us left but dayummmm. Being a land cruiser owner as well....I've crossed over from IH8mud.com Land cruiser enthusiasts are crazy with their posts and parts search and community in general. Am I tripping? Maybe because there are so few gen1's left? or that the average age of ownership is low so that the amount of disposable income is too. Man, if you own a gen1 gs300 .....Post up! Club Lexus seems like a grave yard at times.

It's not club lexus.it's just the 1GS forum, the main reason I barely post anymore.is because I always.have a damn problem to.deal with on my gs, I rather not bother people lol, plus there's only so many of us actually doing something interesting to our cars, the million and one users there were before all disappeared

^ now that is funny

I usually lurk around instead of posting all the time but I love my 1st gen.
I am just doing coilovers and new wheels at the moment but I am not into all the crazy VIP and mad camber look. I like to go fast which is why mine has the gte swap

I think a lot of the other have moved on as well cause you have to remember the age of these cars and parts a ridiculously expensive and hard to find used and still in good cond

But you know what? These cars are harder to find, all the better for me. Makes our cars more unique and rare

Kind of new here. I'm still lurking around. Have a 1gs, with a static drop and some crimson myrtle rims. Plan to air ride it next year and another set of rims. Sorry. My pc is still down. So no pics yet. And I like to build older cars that and chassis that people tend to kind of put to side.

My old build was a 90 accord. You can look me up on cb7tuner.com SN "jhondayaaj". So now that I have a Lexus, this will be my first Lexus. Looking forward to meet more enthusiast, and cars.

Just got here too, but always browsed back in the day for info. I plan on doing a formal intro when I get a pic or two of the GS.

I've seen a gen 1 gs on the new york craigslist recently for a steal. car was worked with coil overs, fujitsubo exhaust, sound system and restiched leather seats for $4900. called and he said he would be willing to part for a surprisingly low $4600...WOW!!!

wish i was still in the market

Default Too Busy working on the GS

Hard to post when you are swapping in a 2JZ-GTE, Air Bags, Auto leveling system, Kraise Vienna Wheels, Supra TT brakes, and chasing electrical gremlins, but still here,,,avoiding the tumbleweeds.

I'm new also, I just picked up a 95 project car. I tend to search a lot for my questions first, then I'll post something. But coming from Cali to the Midwest, our cars are like aliens compared to the usual muscle cars and trucks lol so I know the feeling. So I really a lot on this website.

I usually hang in the sc300/400 section. Those guys are usually more DIY friendly. The 1GS guys local to me usually get together on the weekends so we can help each other repair/mod.
