the wiring really isnt a big deal, just time consuming to say the least. i was just curious more so on really who has done it. i see people do 2jzgte non vvti all the time but no 2jzgte vvti on the 1st gen. i know it would be easier to do a non vvti but the vvti is an awesome engine too. i just wanted to know if anybody retained the traction control lol

I had went to a guy with a shop and asked the same questions, he normally does Supras, but says he can put the engine just about any thing. He told me if I did the swap to please not get the VVTI engine due to tuning issues. He could do it, but the normal non-vvti engine is good enough and not really a big differance other then price. I asked about the retaining of traction control, and he told me 2jzgte engines are set up different, so that would be a no go...Just a little info on what I've heard...
