Default An East Coast Aristo Drift Project

EDIT:Updated pic of car is on Page 4- Post #58
Last Update Page 5- Post #62

A little bit about the car

After getting rid of my Evo 7 and my r32 GTR i recently picked up this original Twin Turbo Aristo. NOT converted and not swapped. Original 68k kilometers (42k miles). Currently being daily driven in Brooklyn NY
Fully loaded minus the leather interior including the tilt-away steering wheel, Reverse back-up sensor, Parking pole, TRD spoiler, Toyota Visors, Air purifier, etc, etc.

plans for the car and goals: After deciding not to sell the aristo i was originally going on bags and going VIP. but i personally cant have a "hard parked" car. This is hopefully turning into a drift project and out sliding by next season. What specific details im going to do to the car is a surprise.

I made this post to have a little build journal for me and our community. any suggestions and comments are welcome. Dont expect a thread update every day as i am 22 and still in college and paying off bills.
Just please dont turn this thread into a legal debate about what the car is.

pics on how it sits now.

Stand by for Updates Coming soon!
thanks fellow CL people

Forget to mention. Recently picked up a replica Admiration Rear and Side skirts. Going to also pick up a couple admiration front bumpers. Yes i know its a replica. Its going to get trashed. These are not going on anytime soon untill coilovers and wheels are on.

I still got pics of this car from when I first saw it in NJ

Its a really clean aristo kinda hurts me to know it's going to be made into a drifter when there's so many less fresher 147's in the tri-state area that can be stripped down and beat on for drifting!

but G/L

you dont need a button on it. I just moved my O/D button to a switch. works wonders and looks good.

An ARISTO is far from an everyday car in the U.S. esp in the north east

And It doesn't have to be a garage queen for it to be loved but again G/L with the drift build
