Need engine swap help
I have a 94 GS300 that needs an engine replaced. My engine died with 297k and I'm about to purchase another factory engine from attarco. I've never did an engine swap and wanted to know where to start exactly. What will I need to have and any other helpful information. Also does anyone have a write-up on this. I seen the 2jz engine swap post but don't know if that will help me. Thanks

Undo the following:
AC lines
Powersteering lines (from pump)
radiator hoses
Fuel lines
Throttle cable
Cruise control cable
Battery cables
Then go about removing the bolts that go to the motor mounts, and trans mount, and unclip the ECU and send the wiring harness through the firewall. Then pull it out and disconnect random BS

That actually raises a question I've had for a while now. When he disconnects the A/C lines won't he lose all the refrigerant in them?
Will he have to get a recharge when he reconnects everything?

Engine ordered today Thanks for the information. All of your suggestions will be used. I'm searching around at my local part store's for and engine lift now, so once the engine is here I can get to work. Will post pics once I start.
