GS300 Run rough,NO Check Engine Light,No A/C, but O/D off light works
I have a 1995 GS300 w/ 125K miles on it. the problem is that I can`t retrieve any codes because the CEL does`NT flash to give me a malfunction code...I did install a new bulb too.Is it possible that the engine will run with a burnt ECU. It` s getting poor MPG, missing, stalls,and once I notice the Cat converter cherry red. I really need help I can`t afford to buy unneeded parts.

I forgot to mention that I did replace O2 sensors and spark wires. I rev`d the car up to 3000 RPM`s and there was a random miss and surge almost like a electrical problem. Have you ever a car running when the ECU is bad, I`ve read some forum`s from other car maker. Which said if the CEL does not illuminate the ECU is shot. Thanks for any suggestions.

re
Take a look at you egr valve connection and system make sure the egr valve is working right. This could be whatis causing the missing in conjunction with a bad cat....... Also make sure the vaccum digram is corrected. It sounds like your car is in limp mode
