Default Custom Gauge Cluster

I was reading a thread in club aristo, a member had his dash cluster redone, but didn't remember the company that did it over in JP. Has anyone ever seen this?

Are these overlays like the infamous indi-glo gauges?

The sheets used in the indiglo background can be found online, I forget the name, but I'll post it as soon as I can. The program was how to blackout the light in certain areas, like for the seat belt light. Looking at how the OEM gauge is done, its just a piece a clear plexi with another layer cutout to allow the light to be visible so we can see the gauge marks. I believe I can make my own template on a gerber cutter with adhesive vinyl and use colors where I want them.

is that how modern gauge are put together like in the new hondas and stuff?

edit: that gas gauge is probably on the left side because it's from a RHD car. Club aristo is primarily based in the UK

it is not a different cluster; i'll tell you guys what it is:

Indeed, one of those revers indi-glo clusters BUT albeit a custom one. Justin sent his to get it done in Japan since there are companies that do this specialized mod for many cars. Remember that the cluster face is a clear piece of plastic with opaque and transparent paint to let pass/block light.

You can do this if you have a vinyl stencil of everything in the cluster. Technically you will sand the cluster down so it is clear, then use the stencil to color the rest. You could use gradiations or leave areas clear to give it a gradiation effect.
