Default New wheels 18x9.5 35mm offset

I got two of my wheels mounted up to do a test fit. What do you guys think ?
Are they ghey ? or should they stay ? The car is going to be a whiteish color and the rims will be powder coated gold.
I think the thing that has me on the fence is that I dont like stretched tires, and these 265's are stretched a bit. I almost think the wheel sticks out to far.

Old rims, which I still like alot

New rims which im on the fence about

I concur. But 18's are still too small for GS's... I'm going 19/20" for a flush stance

Totally agree, these look so small. Its the I wish these were available in 19's.
I havent found many rims in 19's and 20's that in the tuner style that I like.
The blitz technospeed Z1's would be sick but way out of my price range x2

Looking good! I think if you went about 1 1/2 inches lower it would complete the fit and finish. Wheels made it look alot better tho!

Looks alright, but you need a body kit (rear and sides at least) to help it fit those wheels. To me the wheels look out of place on a stock body car for some reason. 19" or larger wheels aren't 'necessary' IMO on a GS, but 17's are definitely starting to get too small. Who cares if any of us like it...if you like it, make it work for you, not us. 18"+ tires are expensive to replace too, but I'm sure you already know that with those wheels.

I cant go a whole lot lower. We'll I mean I can, but I have a hard time getting around now.
I hacked the crap out of my stock suspension to make the camber near zero. So believe it or not thats almost 4" lower than a stocker.

I not a fan of bawdy kitz.
But 18" tires are dirt cheap these days. These nankangs were 58 bux a piece.

okay, i know you said you dont like the stretched tires, but the new rims look good.

here's a tip. for a while now i have been getting g35/350z pulloff tires from the local dealer. they are 225/45 and 245/45 respectively. the potenza re070s i'm getting look great, the extra sidewall thickness does 2 things, it stretches out nice on my 18x9.5 enkeis and it fills the wheel well more.

fwiw, the wheels are +25 and i'm running 27mm (now a -2 offset) of spacer behind them and they are flush. i do have a pretty good pull on the fender though, but your
+35mm should be fine.

here's your roller skate buddy..

this was actually before the 20mm boltons on the rear, so just double stacked 1/4" slipons, 18x9.5 +25 wheel. 245/45/18 tire rear, 225/45/18 front (i wont do the front again.. the extra diameter pinched in the rear of the inner fender at full lock and pivoted on the front end and gave me this, courtesy of the guard rail at the track.

nothing but 225/40 fronts now.

I personally dont think 18's are too small if the width/offset is aggressive with the right stance, especially if you're going for "race" look over "luxury"
