Question gs300 1993

I just bought my first lexus--a 1993 gs300. Love it! But I have typical problems--bad trunk shocks, missing cup holder in center console, missing master remote keys (only have the valey key). Any suggestions from you guys out there? Are there any other kinds of problems these cars have? Thanks! Send me a personal message if you have any info!

John, Yeah I like your sig , but I think your over the limit. hehe It looks big.

Nuimage, your head units are sweet, but for some reason, it looks out of place as a result of them. Seems tacky to me, but I bet your sound is awesome!!! Enjoy!

the only chronic and consistent problem i've seen with the 1st gen gs300 is the freaking cupholder...yours is probably missing because the guy who had it one day go tired of the cup holder flying out of the arm rest so he threw it out the window......damn! who designed those things....he should be shot. btw...I have bought two first gen gs's and both had a broken cupholder and I fixed both....if you wanna know how let me know...email me don't PM me I never check.

I guess I'm a little late in responding, but I'm also a 1st gen owner. Here is a description of my car:

1. 93 Champagne GS with 177,000 miles and still running strong,
2. 98 GS400 rims,
3. Eibach springs,
4. KYB struts/shocks,
5. K&N,
6. Intake,
7. 12 disc CD changer, and
8. Rockford Fosgate(sp) amp.

That's about it, not much done to my car.

Because our cars are between 5-10 years old and therefore have a few squeeks and rattles, a strut tower brace would be a good idea to stiffen the frame of our cars. I would be interested in purchasing a set, but money is low right now until I start working again this summer.

I think I missed this thread the first time around.

I have a 1995 2-tone (Pearl white / silver) with ~99,000 miles. I only have a few mods to list.....

- Tein HA coilovers + EDFC (electronic controller)
- DIY clear corners (thanks to Jmai)
- Borla exhaust tips
- 17" Borbet wheels (previous owner)
- 245/45 Yokahama dB's
- tinted windows (previous owner)

Ohhhh........and "ClubLexus" stickers on both rear passenger door quarter windows.
