Underdrive lightweight pulley is a big no-no. It does not lead to crankwalk like stated above, but it will damage the other bearings in the rotating assembly pretty much leading to a blown knocking bottom end. Crankwalk is normally the thrust washers failing.
We use/sell/swear by Fluidampr crank pulleys. Go with those, ATI, or OEM.
if they car was made to come with a lightweight pulley and NOT a harmonic balancer pulley, it would have.
i personally know two guys in australia blow thier bottom ends and cause major damage to thier engines a couple months after putting on an underdrive crank pulley. and that was on the GTE. those handle stupid amounts of power without having trouble, but yet a lightened crank pulley and not a harmonic balancer can cause that much trouble? wierd? coincidence? no.
don't do it, you'll regret it later.
get a used one off a newer lexus IS300, GS300, supra NA or TT, or aristo for half the price of a new one
+1 I am telling you from FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE. My oem pulley broke then instead of coming here and doing a simple search I went to ebay and bought a cheap underdrive pulley and put it on. Two weeks later I heard a loud knocking then a loss of power and it ended up dying on the highway. Now I'm on the hunt for another engine, btw ANYONE know of ANY GOOD 2JZ ENGINES FOR SALE? :help:

I wish, but yours is a VVTi and my GS3 is an OBD1(pre VVTi) so it won't work. Also it says local pickup and I live in Chitown. Thanks anyway GL with the sale.
