does anyone else have this problem.. i feel like my door sounds as if its hollow when i close it. only my front passenger door sounds like it...i also hear teh echoing hollow sound when pulling on the door handle form the outisde to open.. it just doesnt have that nice sturdy feel like my ls400 has.. any suggestions as to what this may be??

All i can suggest is to remove the door trims and have a look and see what it looks like. i.e. check if there is anything missing like a screw or whatever that may be making it sound different.

otherwise i would recommend something like Dynamat (or similar stuff you have in the US) which is basically sound deadener used for big stereos. It is a tar like stuff that sticks to the doors and makes them heavier and more insulated. just stick some to the suspect door and it should make it sound much more solid when closing. i know of a few people who did it to their S13s as the doors on those are very tinny sounding
