Has anyone tried converting the foot operated e-brake to a hand Brake?

I was thinking of installing the Hand Brake assy from a SC300.

yes, many people have, any one who has a manual conversion needs to do it i do believe.

why would you want to go through all that pain and troouble,all just to have it mounted in a different spot that's going to look gross(i have yet to see a handbrake mounted in a spot in these cars that looks decent) unless your going manual?

done. keep in mind that mine is in a drift usage vehicle, so it is oriented to push instead of pull. I also cut the pedal off and welded a longer handle to it, bent toward the driver.

i'll snap some pix if i can get my new digi cam to upload it is not pretty, but it works very well for my purposes.
