The car is a 1993 gs, the stock alarm system was working about a week ago then it just stopped. Now I have to unlock my car with the key all the time, sucks. I tried replacing my alarm battery but that was'nt it. What is it? Do I have to re-program the alarm? Is there any way I can restart my stock alarm system? Or maybe I just need a new key/alarm system. Any help would be great...

Hi, I have the same problem too, there is a remote switch under the dash that when you turn off for a couple of days then turn on it seems to trigger it to work for a couple of days - but then the same thing happens. I guess there are some electrical gremlins in there somewhere.
