Car shuts off when i hit brake
So i was goin to skool and there was a crazy amount of traffic on the street cuz of stop light goin out. so it was stop go all the way.
i noticed when i would stop hard or harder then normal, all the lights and power to the car would go off, but the car didnt turn off...it felt like when your about to stall in a manual car because you didnt push enough gas... it started back up by itself but it started idling high like it would in the morning when im just starting the car.
it did that about 10 times during the traffic and i noticed it happens when im driving very slow and when im braking. i checked the battery and everything is hooked up tight, im thinking it could be a bad battery that needs to be changed but im not sure.
its not that big of a problem yet, but i want to catch it before it gets worse

I have experienced the symptoms you had a few years ago.
It is either your Battery, Battery connection (make sure the terminals are tight on the battery), or the alternator.
Go to your local autozone and have them test your alternator.

I Went To Autozone And Got My Battery And Alternator Checked Everything Was Fine... So I Decided To Change My Battery Connectors... Turned Out They Were Corroded... Havent Had The Problem Since
