$1400 sounds like just the long block with a cut harness and no ECU. Not to mention Tiger motors is in Canada I believe and you will have to pay shipping + duty.
$1800 + shipping is/was about the going rate for a motorset with ECU and harness. A half cut from Jarco or Jhot is really the way to go. It costs more, but it will run, it's unmolested, only being shipped from Georgia and you have some recourse with someone in the states if you are dissatisfied. This is a big investment, don't put the cheapest thing you can find under your hood.
