Default Wheel Fitment Question: IS350 wheels, GS300

Will the wheels from a new IS350 (255/40R18 size in the REAR) fit with NO clearance issues on a 1st gen GS300? I'm not really concerned about the fronts (225/40R18), just the rears. Car is at stock height at the moment, but will probably be lowered soon with either Eibach springs or Tein CS's.

Thanks,
Ken

So probably a 8" rim. What is the offset?

45 offset front 18x8
50 offset rear 18x8.5

Stock IS350 wheels.

It won't look right IMO. I have a 10" in the rear with a 34 offset and it sits flush. Not only is your rim 1.5 inches narrower the offset is 16mm the wrong way.

True, but I have the stock GS430 17s on mine and the offset is the same as our stock wheels..50mm, and they are 8" wide, and they look fine, although I have been thinking of getting spacers to give it a more aggressive look.
To answer the OPs question, they wont have clearing issues.

Yeah dude, you'll be okay.I'm rolling on Supra's which is 9.5 in the rear with a +50.the only thing I don't like is that it tucks in like a f'n truck.friends tell me to put spacers but its just stock wheels so,why?

TO ALL: Thanks !

I know it won't look ideal, but it'll work for the time being. Hell, anything is better than the car stitting idle due to 3 bent wheels. And it's still at stock height with new shocks (springs are on order soon), so I'll be sporting Lexus' "unofficial" SUV sedan

Are you talkin about the spyder wheels. I think those would look amazing on a fist gen. Im thinking about getting a set for my wifes 2nd gen and "testing" them on my car. Since your -50mm you could throw a set of spacers on and be all set
