Default A342 shifting tricks?

Anyway to make this bad boy shift faster, it's killing my clutch packs at 18 PSI for the 1st to 2nd shift and I think it's finally starting slip a little.

Can I get more line pressure somehow to make it faster shifting by shimming something I though I heard you could.

Eric, there is an old thread on SF called "how to make an a340 last"

it involves shimming the accumulators with a few rods..washers.. etc to give a firmer shift. the line pressure is hydraulically controlled in the aristo, just like the mk4, the regular gs has a kickdown cable.

maybe as a mod there you could persuade them to put the search function back up.. frustrates me to go on there looking for anything anymore..

edit.. heres the link to SF.. the info you want is toward the end. I never got around to doing it, maybe now while the engine is out..
