Srt8 Charger vs light BPU aristo ;)
Please mods, don't move this I like posting here to the small 1G community because they are the only ones that actually care about kills in the first gen.
So today I was cursing up to my buddy's shop with all my 4" exhaust pipes in my car and all sorts of tools in the trunk to go work on my supra for the big Toronto meet Friday.
I enter the highway and literally as I merge on what do I see? A shiny new red SRT8 Charger.... I see the guy making aggressive moves as he changes lanes and though to my self oh **** this is going to be good..... I pull up beside the guy and he gives me a thumbs up seeing I’m on the right side and I return the thumbs up then I hit the gas a little to let him know I'm game.
Remember my aristo is bone stock looking right down to the stock rims.
I have a 3" DP/MP/CAT which splits in to dual 2.5" pipes and feed the stock mufflers.
E01 is set for 18PSI and turbos spike 19 PSI and drop to about 17 by redline.
Back to the story... So no dice he does not bite... So I pull behind him because of a fool sitting in the left lane going slow.... All of a sudden he hits it... In my unready state I punch it too and he pulls about a car away until my turbos spool at which point he stays that distance until I hit my 180KPH speed limit.
I then pull beside him and he said "wow that things pretty quick!" I holler back "yeah twin turbo supra engine!" Looked like he didn't know what I was talking about and I said "Another try?"
"SURE!"
I hear his exhaust note change and I punch it....
My aristo roars to life and fearing that the low end tq would pull out on me since I didn’t break boost I feared the worst. However, this was not the case, the raw grunt of the 2jz-GTE and twin ceramic turbos burst to life and proceeded to put 1 car length between us where I proceeded to hold this until the 180 KPH speed cut!
I'm shocked that my lightly modded aristo must be running 109-110 MPH 1/4 with 18 psi, partly stock exhaust and elcheapo generic air filter!!
Who said cermaic turbos are weak! 18 PSI and loving every minute of it!

I have much more updated ones somewhere but it looks exactly the same
Underneeth it's a little diffrent, looks like i won't make the Supra meet in my 2jz mk3 this year, it's not ready but my aristo will do me proud lets pray for a 12second pass and nothing breaking!
btw the 279 WHP was at 13-14 PSI, now that I"m at 18 there feels like a 50 WHP gain. at least.

Lets get this straight you have an aristo thats had the FCD fitted but not a TSD? The same box can do both jobs lol. You need to take that top speed limit off as the car really doesn't shine til you get to well over 130 279 RWHP at 13-14 PSI??? HMMMM your dyno is running high figures man or you have some aftermarket cams in there. Aristo seems to be more restricted than the supe is, do you have the stock aristo ECU??

I have a Emanage, but it can't get rid of speed cut i don't believe, or at least I have never seen the option.
yep 279 at 13-14 PSI but remember it's a dyno jet not a dyno dynamics which usually means it rates higher then others.
