I went to a local key shop/locksmith and had generic ones made on the spot for $25 each, they work great, i didnt need the transponder keys since im gonna put on a viper remote start alarm and bypass the factory system anyways. The local dealer wanted CRAZY money for the transponder keys+cutting+coding, the aftermarket alarm is better and cheaper.

I just got a Python 2 way REmote starter and use the factory alarm...installed for 280$ at circuit.

If i was you, i'd get a generic key made for 25$ and get the remote starter, its like a win win situation

Locksmiths who cut car keys sell the blanks for about $10.00 and then cutn them for $5-10.00. Atleast this is what it is in my neck of the woods. There's one condition, they want your car to be on-site to test it. No remote on them.

good suggestion from Xeeeem more expensive but solves your remote lock/unlock. Another $100 you can get alarm plus 2-way autostart.

If you get autostarter some shops will charge you addtional $50.00 plus labor for the AUTOSTART brand for a bypass module that is suppose to bypass your factor security cut-off... When you do install an after market alarm/remote lock/unlock your factory security system is disabled. Also but the time your done adding up the cost for the auto start, you can get an alarm system and pay another $50.00 for the auto starter.

Make sure you test all your door lock switches work afterwards. Also, watchout for the auto locking alarm systems that lock itself after you disarm it and don't open any doors. I've had my key in the ignition and the alarm set and my keys lock inside.
