Problem! Has this happened to you?
I could sure use your help again! The other day the I performed the air bag reset. I checked it first Tc & E1 and got the code 22, no problems there...
I then followed the instructions to the letter, the whole Tc,AB to ground thing. While doing it, I noticed that my green cruise control light was also coming on, flashing when I was alternately touching the Tc-AB to ground. The air bag light reset on the first attempt, GREAT!!! A few hours later, I hit the road going to Akron, OH from Pittsburgh and wanted to use my cruise control. I turned it on, the green light came on, but I could not set any speed. I was thinking maybe a blown fuse, but if the light came on, the fuse must be ok. I looked in the manual and the only references to cruise control were listed under fuses 16 & 4, neither were blown. For *****s and giggles, I pulled EVERY fuse that I could find under the hood and in the kick panel and every fuse is intact. Can anyone please tell me what's going on here? I'm on the road quit a bit and I use my cruise control whenever possible.
Thanks again to you all for your help!!!!

I'll try and find some time to look into it for you LD! I do have an extra actuator for CC if it turns out ya need one. The flashing of the CC light is probably a code, which is more than likely your problem.

When I connected Tc to E1 this morning, the ABS, Air Bag and Cc were all flashing! I was mainly looking at the Cc light and saw that it was flashing continuously, there was no "sequence" so to speak. I then noticed that that the ABS flashed some type of code but I missed it and it didn't come on again. The air bag light went out as well. The Cc continued to flash but then started to flash very fast then it also went out. I'M EVEN MORE CONFUSED NOW! Is it possible that I may have inserted the clip ends too far into the sockets when I first attempted to reset my Airbag light and possible shorted out my Cc? Again, all of the fuses are intact. I will going out a little later and I will try to see if the Cc has reset and is working like normal.

Ok! So you're saying you a constant slow flash and then a rapid flash from the CC light on the dash? Does the light for the CC on the dash light up when you switch the CC on and Off? It sounds like you have 2 codes, the rapid flash is everything is normal and the slow constant flash is a code 11 or the motor(actuator has a short). if you have a code 11 folowed by a code 13 then you need to check and replace the CC ECU. Doesn't sound like you have that. You can test the actuator by unplugging the harness and applying +12 volts to the first pin on the left in the middle row of three pins and -12 volts to the middle pin. Apply +12 volts simultaneously to the very bottom pin on the right and -12 volts to the bottom pin on the left. The actuator should move in one direction. Reverse the connection on the 2 bottom pins and it shold move in the opposite direction. If nothing happens the actuator is shorted and you'll need a replacement one.
