Default New aluminum radiator available for the GS300.

I recently got a stock radiator from a forum member and had it shipped to http://www.griffinrad.com/ They made it and sent it to my buddy who installed it in my car for me. Here's a few pics with a new flex-a-lite black magic fan and perma cool tranny cooler.

Last one. You won't be able to see the radiator though once the snorkel is installed.

yup...on a side note, Griffin now makes this radiator for GS300's. They added it to the catalog. Now anyone that wants one can get one! bling bling!

This is just a side note, but when I replaced the coolant in my car I used green coolant. Big mistake, I think this is what caused my headgasket to blow. Stick with Lexus/Toyota red coolant, you can't go wrong

It already had green coolant when I got it. I dunno if switching the brands of coolant could cause your HG to blow?

I don't know, maybe you're right. I was just thinking that the different coolant reacted in a bad way with the gasket material causing it to rust/weaken and bust. I can't think of any other reason it busted. Oh well, I have a new GS now and don't have to worry about it anymore. Now I stick with what Lexus recommends because I don't want anything going wrong with my new car.

Any performance gain or anything with this radiator upgrade? Am I to assume that it's just aesthetically pleasing to the eye? thanks

Griffin is known for making radiators and i've heard of them for along time now. They can make the radiator in any dimensions you want with any HP goal. I would hope that this aluminum 2-core has a pretty good advantage over the stock plastic/copper radiator.
