Default aristo manual tranny and hand brake?

I was searching the internet and ran across an aristo with a manual tranny but the thing that suprised me was the side hand brake. aristo's parking brakes are on the side and on gs300 they have pedal parking brakes ? or is this pic a custom job i was just wondering because i think it would be alot easier to drift with this kind of setup (side braking)

You don't have to look at the link to answer the question. It is without a doubt a custom job.

Yup this setup was done in japan.
The clutch pedal is now where the hand brake was.

I remember seeing that link when it was working a few months back. Yes it was a custom job. Possibly you can adapt the Supra parts to fit the GS300.. I may attempt the 6 speed if I ever can afford the price of a Getrag.

For now, I modified the catch on the e-brake pedal and have gotten pretty good at using it.. J-turns.. 90*, 180*.. just find an empty lot and practice. i started out in the rain and it made it much easier to get the hang of.
