Default Automatic Headlights: How to always have on?

So our cars have 3 headlight settings: sidemarkers, headlights on, and auto. Auto mode turns the lights on when the car starts and off when the car turns off if it is dark outside. How do you make it so that they turn on when the car turns on regardless of whether it is dark outside or not? I'd appreciate the help, thanks.

well, my lights stay on when i have it on that setting, even when the car isn't on. Is there a way to disable the sensor?

The second to last turn means it will always be on regardless whether your car is on or off. The last turn is only for auto on, when its dark outside. Thats pretty much all you can do unless you rewire it.

on your drivers side, on top of the dashboard, there is a little round sensor, right where the windshield glass meets the dashboard.... put some duct tape over it, and you're all set

Ummm, even if you have it in the non-auto position it should turn off the lights when you open the driver's door. no tape needed.

I personally prefer the auto lights. It's already bright enough in Texas without everyone's lights on all the time.
