Default Rear Tire Wear w/ Daily Driving

For those who drive their GS-F everday, how is tire wear? How long would a set of rear tires typically last? Only reason I am asking is because I am toying with the idea of trading in the GS350 for a GS-F.

That is a good question but I do not think too many have gotten to the need tire point yet being these are basically all first year cars.

All depends on how you drive. But if nothing crazy. Occasionally, spirited driving should get about 15-20k solid miles.

I had mine measured at 9k and I think it was 6/32. Tire guy at dealership said maybe another 10k miles.

Price of performance oriented equipment.

I've had my RCF for exactly a year and 24K miles in... During my 20K mileage I had 4/32 in the rear and 6/32 in the front. The rears are done as I can't get traction in first gear anymore. New tires should be installed for my 25K service.

you take it pretty easy. On the opposite spectrum, I have 12k on my rcf (weighs almost same as GSF) and have about 5/32 left on the rear and 7/32 on the front. That's with about 12 drag strip runs with burnout and drive like stole it 99% city.

OP, if you are worried about tire cost, either buy cheaper tires (it kills the fun since the pilot super sports cant handle the power) or keep the current vehicle. Gotta pay to play

A lot of my commute is highway driving. I do around 50 miles a day in traffic times so I don't get to run it too hard.

I'm at 19.5k and not down to the wear indicator yet. Lots of spirited driving and 50 mile per day commute. Im loosing low speed traction so I know the time is near!
