Default Smart Key Card - Available for US Models?

I checked the thread in the 4GS forum on smart key cards and it isn't clear if anything works on those vehicles except the Middle East (General) models. US Lexus dealers show the key card that works on those vehicles in their online parts systems. Has anyone tried and either failed or succeeded to make this work? If I need to be the guinea pig, I will, but it's a $300 bet that could turn out to be an epic fail. Anyone know for sure?

So far it appears 89904-30770 is the correct part number. Definitely would like to know before spending $305 on it if I can.

I've tried with my local Lexus dealership we both validated the parts and ordered it. The only spec on Toyota/Lexus inventory at this time is the Korea spec and it doesn't work with current modules within our GSFs. Therefore, if you REALLY are interested with having an F-Key Card. Then, your ONLY option is to remove/replace all your key modules with compatible ones along with the sensor module in the dash. Plus, thats not including the F-Key Card and Master Key Cut Fee.

Well, after hearing that and doing the math in my head. (Parts + Labor) I'll pass for the moment.... It's not that serious for me!

I'm not sure if it helps any, but my Canadian GSF has a smart card key. Should be able to get the part numbers from a Canadian dealer.
