Default Molten Pearl...works on the GS F!

Stopped by me dealer this past weekend, and among the GS F's in inventory, they had a Molten Pearl on the lot. I will be the first to admit that I thought this was a pretty stupid color for the GS F. Too loud, wouldn't work on a big sedan, etc. Seeing it in person, in the morning light, it almost took my breath away. I had an orange Lamborghini a couple of years ago, and the Molten pearl reminded me of it, but maybe just a touch lighter, and not a 3 stage paint. Anyway, took some photos of it on my iPhone to share (didn't have my DSLR with me).

Excellent shots. Molten Pearl is such a beautiful color. You just have to commit to not being able to blend in a parking lot, ever lol. Lexus is unmatched in color depth when it comes to their Molten Pearl, Ultrasonic Blue, Liquid Platinum, and Infra Red.

I'm a fan of orange colors on cars and motorcycles and wonder if this "shifts" in the light. The TRD Pros from Toyota appear much different in the full sunlight, night and in the shade. On the Lexus site this car looks richer and deeper. Still a cool color.

I'm not even going to Lie. I.love this color. Some may think its loud but I like colors that are different and stand out. Those pictures really do this color justice. The dealership by me said they wouldn't order this color unless it was special order because it wasn't conservative enough for its demographics.. Lol..
I have a USB ISF and I love that color. It would be a hard day if I had to choose between the USB and Molten Pearl if I got an GSF....

The molten pearl is great! I have the rcf in that color. It changes color wet/dry, under sun/shade and day/night. Heck, it even becomes lighter when dirty. The best condition is after a wash under the sunshine, that's where the metallic paint stands out
It definitely attracts attention everywhere. Without fail someone is staring at a stop light, typically guys though...

$87,525.

It had the Mark Levinson, Trunk Mat/Cargo Net/Wheel Locks/Rear Bumper Applique/Gloves, and illuminated door sills. The ONE option it should have had was the orange calipers...come on!

I was in love with USB 2.0 for the GS F, and no other color would have been considered, if I didn't see this in person. Very torn now, since the Molten Pearl is a GS F exclusive color, and USB is available for the F Sports.

Yeah the lack of matching calipers makes no sense. Definitely would've been nice to match them.

Hah! Sorry but I highly doubt that a GS drenched in orange rolls by and someone spies the calipers and goes "too much". Just sayin'

I actually own a molten pearl rcf. What I meant was its a bit tacky and too overdone with orange paint and calipers
Even for my more sporty rcf coupe, it's too much

I think you're in the minority. I think it ties it all together on the bright colors.
