I wonder how tight they will be as this year and years forward, move along. I mean I understand their is a profit to be made, but once they lowered the price (different areas, different %), they started selling. I know some places will only bring one in if a customer asks for one, but I wonder how much each dealer will have. Maybe more high selling high prestige dealers will have them on the regular lot while others won't at all, right?

I mean wasn't this a similar case with the RC F? Made a lot of them with High asking MSRP, had to lower prices and they started selling. And the price for the most part stayed consistent after that?

I'd like to know actual production numbers for the 2016s. Some article I read hinted at 2300 RCF and GSF combined for 2016. You guys are right, 2017s are scarce at this point. The RCFs don't seem to be flying off the shelves either, but there is a decent amount of 2017s in inventory. I was hoping they'd still build a good amount of them, but they are delayed in shipping, or parked at a port somewhere waiting for the 2016s to clear out. Will there be a 2018 model? I'm hoping to get a GSF in the fall/winter in the mid to high 60s like a lot of members have. Is there any way to find out if some of the low mileage ones were used for the Lexus Driving Experience? May not matter much (cars seem solid), but would be nice to know.

You purchased this car? If so, congrats! Sounds like a really solid deal.

Even if I shopped out of state and brought it home, registration would stick me with that same tax.

The only thing that would fix this, for me at least, is a higher residual percentage, because that would lower the depreciation and therefore the payments. This is a buyers car in this state, in my opinion, not a lease car. Plus the money factor is really high right now. At the end of the day, I waited all year for a great lease on the gsf and never saw it, so it's off my list.
I had no clue that in TX we pay full taxes on the sale price instead of the lease amount. I guess it never bothered me because every LEXUS that i have leased was when LEXUS were offering Tax credits on certain models (meaning that you dont pay taxes). I leased my ES350 during the tax waiver and leased my RCF when they were offering the tax waiver as well. The payments on my RCF are $675 with "0" down and first months payment included.

I didn't buy one but lexus of Lincoln has an 16 silver loaded, msrp around 87k, for 72k. That's about 15k off....wow. I wish I'm in the market for it.

they gave me 2k off when I bought my 15 gx and 1k off for my 17 nx200t FSport.

My local dealer has a 2016 demo and offering me 73k + taxes and fees comes out to 76k. If it wasn't a demo I'd be all over it. I asked for 70k out the door but they will not budge.

How many miles? I assume its loaded and your in Hawaii. I would think it would be a little more in Hawaii than the mainland. You must have a very low tax rate, around 4%? Mine is almost 9% in CA! I don't think that's a horrible deal assuming its in excellent shape and low miles.

125 miles. I know it's low but it is still a demo. I have a quote from a dealer in the states for $66k. It'll still come out about 4 grand cheaper after shipping back home.

Just finalized my paper work. Paid 66.9k for a 2016 GS-F USB 2.0. MSRP is 87.9k. Purchased from Nalley Lexus of Roswell. They have one left Ultra White with Red Interior for the same price if anyone is interested. Ask for Carmen he'll hook you up!

This Nalley Lexus dealership really seems to be having some great deals as a whole compared to other purchasing their cars from a combination of different locations. I wouldn't mind taking a journey down there once I'm more settled with things.

Congrats on the deal, how many miles were on it?

85 miles. You should definitely look them up soon as they only have one left at this price.

I saw that car when I took in the wife's car for service. The VIN on it is December '15 production, so it's a year old no matter how you slice it. Not a bad car, and if I wanted to sell my IS F, I'd seriously consider it, but it has been sitting a long time.
