GS F is not going to be a large production number just like the GS hybrid. For a sticker of low 50's for a nicely equipped GS200t that could sell a lot.

I can see another $2K for ML + calipers bringing the loaded cost to $87K. But I read a separate article that said that Lexus is only planning to bring 2,000 units to the US. I'm guessing there will be a "market adjustment" by the dealers initially... so that could bring the total price to north of $90K. And I'm also guessing Lexus will find 2,000 buyers of the GS-F even at premium prices, I just won't be one of them. I'll take a S6 or 550i with more usable power for less money.

It's a shame though, because based on the initial reviews, I was really getting excited for the GS-F.

so initially i expected around 85k for a loaded car. now it's 85 for base but at the same time it seems not many options on top (i would hold back a bit to see if it's really the case that ONLY ML and orange calipers as options).

i guess it slots a bit higher than the 550i but probably gives more driving thrill. though i probably don't think it delivers the kind of value lexus did years back

it's going to be tough to explain to some people about 20k for 2 extra doors (since they would say it's the same engine)

they have been doing it with the rcf and nx200t so it's nothing new

if dealers are smart and looking at the lesson they learned from the rcf, they wouldn't be so cocky about the pricing.

and i personally highly doubt they can find 2000 buyers at premium pricing.

ML on the Lexus website for the GS is $1380, where are people getting 2-3 grand from. When dealers order this car they will probably order it with ML anyways

that's why i am reserving my comments on the "load" price. if ML and orange calipers are the only options to this car then it's quite nontraditional for lexus.

and seriously, orange caliper as an option?!

When you actually compare weight of a non carbon RC F just w/ TVD = 4,057 lbs & the GS F w/ TVD = 4,034 lbs.. They are both in the same boat...

GS F also available Without Monnroof...
