Cool Thoughts on EBC pads Green or Yellow?

am looking for opinions on brake pads which is best suitable for a daily driver. I Say this because I know the red is for track and heard they make some noise so green or yellow pads are the choices I have to go with. The non f sport brakes I think should have more bite imo. How's the f sport brakes stopping power. Would it be a good upgrade to go with instead?

Using Yellow Stuff on my 13' F Sport and it made the braking superb, can make some noise here and there but putting anti squeal grease removes it. The F Sport brakes are definitely better since it has 14 inch two-piece rotor.

I've been looking at brake pads for my own car and correct me if I'm wrong but seems like redstuff is below yellow stuff on the performance scale. Bit counter intuitive but that's what i read from EBC's website: https://ebcbrakes.com/brakes-selector-chart/ (Need to click "Automotive USA" to show proper chart)

Can anyone confirm please?

They did state these though...

RedStuff Brake Pads

  • Mid-level street upgrade for significantly improved friction and fade resistance compared to OE

YellowStuff Brake Pads

  • Our flagship fast road and light track upgrade offering maximum improvement in braking performance compared to OE

I agree, it's just that OP said "red is for track" while it seems that EBC states otherwise. Just so others aren't confused by this

One thing I do want to know is if the AWD brake pads will work for the RWD model. I'm guessing not because of the larger rotor but stranger things have been known.... anyone know for sure?

No mention of dust here? I find the EBC yellow creates quite a bit of dust for very marginally better braking performance. My vote would be Akebono's, very minimal dust, and good performance for regular street.

yeah that i agree, but it's still better than the stock pads. I wonder how the Akenobos perform
