Default Would you consider this acceptable repair for rear end?

I have a 2015 GS 350 with only 10,000 miles that I bought brand new.

My rear quarter panel (passenger side) was the victim of a hit and run and I had to get a repair on it (replace quarter panel). It also pushed the trunk lid in a bit. Unfortunately, after repair my rear tail lights no longer align.

In the pics here you can clearly see the trunk lights are higher than the quarter panel lights - they don't line up. Also, on the passenger side the trunk lid is lower than the quarter panel. On the driver side the trunk lid is higher.

My question is: would you guys consider this to be an acceptable repair? Or should I go back an ask them to re-align things?

I would ask them to adjust the trunk lid.

For what it's worth, I just went out and snapped these pictures of my '15. Pardon the wet, dirty car.

It does look a little off, especially compared with JDR76's pictures. I would go back and have them re-align it.

might want to check the bumpers on the trunk lid to see if they are screwed in enough. it would be a quick fix if it was. might save some time to the body shop

I would ask them to re-align the trunk. I'd definitely get annoyed seeing that misalignment, it'd be a painful reminder of that hit and run.

It definitely looks off and I would be pissed off specially your car being almost new, did this happen at a Lexus dealer or some wanna be body shop.
