I'm referring to the projector that puts the lexus logo on the ground when you open the door.

I bough a set of 4 on eBay for $45. The lens in the projector rattles when I shake it. I don't want to put something that rattles in my hand into the door.
Did anyone else have this rattle when they bought there projector? Was it an issue once in the door?

If your doesn't rattle what seller/manufacture did you buy it from?

Do you have the standard color or full color logo chip?

I'm curious what the full color logo chip looks like.

No rattles here as well. I bought mines from eBay and it has a year warranty.

That happens to be the seller I bought from and returning. If you shake the product you hear the rattle. It turns out the lens in the projector is loose, causing the noise. I guess mine must just be defective or a bad batch.

Do they have screws that can be loosened for adjustment/aim. Are they tight?
Mine are fine BTW

Mine (different seller) didn't rattle when I got them. I wouldn't install them if they did.

Pure white for me, thought it would look best with liquid platinum. I believe the color logo chips fade after awhile as they offer one free replacement with the original purchase.

Can you not determine what is loose that is creating the rattle?

Yeah you must have received a defective one. Im sure he will switch it out with a good one. I haven't had any issues with mines and my friend has them in his LS with no issues as well.

Just installed mines, same seller. Before installing i did shake and there is a light rattle but nothing to complain about. Still installed them and works fine. Can't hear no rattles when closing the door.

I bought mine from Black Menba, only cost $18. Total 4 lights, but only installed on front doors due to the rear door angle for the projection. I noticed mine rattled, I read on other posts where they say the lens can rotate the image over time with door slams,etc. Some people used super glue, I was too lazy and just popped them in, no noticeable rattle while driving. I figure I have two other ones I can put in if the lens rotates. I like the projection on the ground, but miss the light around the lens itself.
