Default tire size fwd stock rim for 285 rear?

I have fwd 14 GS350 f sport.

I'm trying to change the tire on stock rim.

Thinking to get the Michelin AS3+

for front, I will go 245/40/19

for the rear, I'm thinking 275/35/19 ... OR 285

can I go 285/35/19 ? no issue at all?
Does it changes a lot of MPGs if I change over sized?

Well first off, you have a RWD not a FWD. I went up one size in the rear (275) (left the front the stock 235) and the car did not throw any errors or have problems with the ABS. I would think logically going up one size on the front and two sizes on the back will work since that is basically the setup I have but with one size smaller all the way around. The only thing is that your speedo error will be slightly more than one size up which is less than 1% error (slower on speedo). So two sizes up would probably be between 1% and 1.5% error on the speedo.
